A Journey Through The Northwest Suburbs

In the style of his hit programs Chicago's North Shore and South of Chicago: Suburbs, Steel Mills, Shoreline, Geoffrey Baer takes Channel 11 viewers on a journey through the Northwest suburbs.

The TV tour begins in Park Ridge and follows I-90 and the historic Northwest Highway through communities such as Des Plaines, Mt. Prospect, Elk Grove Village, Rolling Meadows, Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Barrington and Crystal Lake, concluding in far northwest suburban Woodstock.

We also take a side trip along the route of a long forgotten steam railroad from Palatine through Lake Zurich to Wauconda.
